Casey Redmond is an Ohio singer/songwriter/musician. In his youth he attended various Catholic schools resulting in a life long fear of neckties, standing in line single file and women named "Sister".
His music runs the gamut from acoustic folk to surf, blues, rockabilly, instrumental rock, Halloween songs, beach tunes, television theme songs and spoken word compositions. He has released a number of albums, EPs and singles on his own Count Rockula and Iaintgotno record labels. Most of his songs have a humorous left of center bent and explore such varied subjects as Ohio, beer, werewolves, maimed surfers, sloth, babyboomers, middle age white guys, baseball, sharks, catholic school, gnomes, debauched PTA meetings, Superman's cousin, aliens, and Santa Claus's wife.
Most of his music is available for download at itunes, Amazon.com, Napster and CD Baby . He has also written and recorded with such unlegendary rock n roll "bands" as The Shark City Beer Guzzlers, The North Pole Chimney Shakers , The Ohio Melonhead Eradication Society and The Moonville Tunnel Beer Drinking Association. He performs solo acoustic shows at various bars, festivals, coffeehouses, farmers markets and street corners around Ohio. In his spare time, Casey enjoys indulging in activities that were forbidden in his youth such as; loafing, slouching and milling around.
